A day in which I might just possibly do

NOTHING!

I really might, a whole day - with nothing!

Wish me luck!

Here's to your health!!

Do you ever take things for granted? I sure as heck know that I do!

Take your health - for instance . . .do you really notice it's presence or do you (like me) simply curse when your health goes on sabbatical?

My life currently revolves around semesters and during the last semester - I personally, or someone in my family, has experienced:

pink eye
strep throat
staph infection in the throat
influenza
allergic reactions
MRSA
hernia surgery
bursitis of the hip
bursitis of the shoulder
cold
cysts
fibroid's
and I am sure several others I have forgotten to mention!

I get it - there are many worse health ailments we could be facing - GRANTED! However, every time I turn around someone is sick! So I am taking my time to state publicly - I appreciate my health!!! Now - can I have it back for me and mine - we promise to appreciate it! Honest we do!!!!

Today, my friend Jenn posed an interesting question on her blog about TRUTH.

It is probably "blogcheating" - to use her post and my response as my own post - but what the hell - this is my page, right!

When it comes to telling the truth - here is my dilemma -

Recently, I realized I was avoiding telling the truth in two separate situations - not because I am afraid of what I believe to be true - but I have realized I am worried about the confrontation with those that I think need to hear it. So while I too am a lover of truth, in being truthful with myself, I have to admit I am not a lover of confrontation. So for me truth and dislike of confrontation end up pulling me in opposite directions sometimes. One of the truth telling confrontations occurred yesterday and went very well. The other - that hits closer to home - well, I am still building my courage for the confrontation. Wish me luck!
